Did you know the largest cured cheese in the world is in Lanzarote?
It was made with more than 1,800 liters of goats milk and weighs more than 200 kilos
The well known local butchers on the island called Ropers has the cheese exhibited at its main shop in Playa Honda. It was made by Quesos Bolaños and was matured for ten months in Gran Canaria before making its way to Lanzarote. It will remain on display until Saturday, November 21, and after cut by accredited master craftsmen from Gran Canaria.
