Making a Booking

How much deposit do you require?

The deposit is 30% of the booking total. If you are within 10 weeks of your arrival date we require full payment.

When is the balance due and will I receive a reminder?

The balance is due 10 weeks before your arrival. We will give you the balance date when we confirm the receipt of your deposit payment. We only send out reminders when the balance is overdue

How do I pay?

Payments can be made by credit/debit card or sterling bank transfer. Full payment details will be given at time of confirmation.

Is my payment protected?

If you pay more than £100 off the total cost of your booking by credit card, you are protected under Section 75 of the consumer act.

What age is a child and how does this affect the price?

We class children as between the ages of 2 years and 12 years. Infants are 0-2 years. There is no charge for an Infant in the majority of properties. Children are the same price as adults.

Are there any restrictions with who can book?

Many of our villas do not accept bookings of same sex groups, hen/stag groups and groups under the ages of 21 years old. Please let us know if any of these apply to you.

Can you help with booking flights?

We do not book flights. We feel this gives you the freedom to shop around and get the best possible deals on what flights are available.

Is there a charge for Cots & Highchairs?

Please check on the property description; some owners have travel cots and highchairs that they can provide. Alternatively we can arrange a hire travel cot or highchair for you. Please enquire at the time of booking. Please bring your own cot bedding.

What do we book first, the villa or flight?

We strongly advise you to contact us before booking your flights so that we can re-confirm the availability of the villa and provisionally hold your dates while you book your flights.

Can I amend my booking?

Yes, you can add on people or take off people and we will amend your booking for you for no additional chanrge.

Is there a set changeover day?

You can arrive and depart on any day subject to availability and the minimum stay requirements.

When do I receive my arrival information?

This will be sent to you once we have received your balance/full payment

Arrival at Resort

Will there be somebody at the airport to meet me?

We do not have a representative at the airport but we do supply you with all you need to arrive at your accommodation,We are able to arrange airport transfers for you.

Are there taxis at the airport?

Yes there is a taxi rank at the airport just outside the terminal.

Where do I collect the keys from?

Keys to the property will be in a key safe on your arrival. We will send you details of how to operate this key safe when payment of your booking is complete.

Will I be met at the property?

Once you have paid your balance will will give you the full address, directions and local contact details of the villa manager. The majority of our villas have a key safe outside the front door for which we give you the key code to let yourselves in. Should you have a problem finding the villa, please call your villa manager during your Stay

What time can I check in/check out?

Check in is from 14.00 and check out at 10.00. However, if you have an early or late flight you may be able to have an earlier check in or later check out but this can usually not be guaranteed until a few days in advance. The only way to secure a late check out in advance is to book an extra day.

Cleaning

Is the accommodation cleaned during my stay?

The property will be clean on your arrival. Each property will have its own manager and cleaning regimen: Some have mid-week mini clean with towel and linen changes and clean of floors and bathrooms whereas others only offer cleaning if staying for more than 7 nights. Please refer to the property description. The property will be cleaned on your departure but we kindly ask that you leave the villa clean and tidy as your found it and that all rubbish has been removed.

Do I need to bring towels & linen?

Towels and linen are supplied. In some villas pool towels are also supplied but not in all our villas.

When will my villa and pool be cleaned?

This is subject to the cleaning schedule for your particular villa

Accommodation

What do I do if there is a problem with the villa during my stay?

Please call your villa manager on the contact numbers you were given along with your directions and arrival instructions.

What TV channels will I be able to watch?

Most villas with Sky TV packages have restricted channels. In many cases ITV and BBC cannot be viewed due to the Sky restrictions on viewing outside of the UK. More and more villas are introducing Internet TV which works off a WIFI connection. We cannot be held responsible for any problems with the TV due to temporary problems with the WIFI providers.

How is my pool heated and to what temperature?

Please refer to the property description which will state pool (non- heated), electrically heated pool or solar heated pool. Solar heated pools rely on the amount of sunshine hours for the pool temperature. Electrically heated pools are usually maintained between 24 and 28 degrees; Local Health and safety regulations state that pools are not heated above 28 degrees. Pools which are heated in winter months only (November through to April) will show this in their description.

Is there a safe in the property?

Most properties have a safe fitted. Please refer to the property description.

Do the properties have air conditioning or heating?

Most properties in Lanzarote do not have air conditioning; some may have coin operated air conditioning units / heating units and this will be stated on the property description.

Can I smoke in the villa?

No. All properties are non smoking.

Resort

What time do the supermarkets close in resort?

Most supermarkets close at 21.00hrs, however you may find a smaller local supermarket open a little later

Will I be able to find baby products for my infant?

Supermarkets and chemists do sell nappies and baby food although these may not be the same brands as you are used to. Some supermarkets sell fresh milk but this does not keep for long. You can buy powdered and UHT milk in all supermarkets.

Can I exchange money in resort?

There are banks and money exchanges in resort.
