A meeting of mayors along with the islands president was held last Friday with regard to the past months and possible progress made to re open some of the markets and parks which have remained closed since the lock down in March. A decision has benn made that from next week sports facilities and parks as well as some agricultural markets will be allowed to open. There are however restrictions with public safetey in mind. The use of parks will be closed to youth clubs and sports competitions and any other organised gatherings cannot exceed 25 people. Changing rooms will remain closed
The decision was made to allow the agricultural markets to reopen to help alleviate the difficultiesby farmers and market gardeners.
