The Haría Extreme Lanzarote has announced the suspension of the events of Haria Extreme Lanzarote and the World Mountain running Championships scheduled for the month of November 2020. It has been decided that because of the current health situation the races cannot take place with the necesary measures that would need to be in place. The decision was made by all parties involved, the Haría city council and the WMRA. The event normally involves of a lot of staff and resources and this year this would be multiplied if the race was to take place.
The Haría Extreme Lanzarote will return with all the strength of the world in 2021, with a date already scheduled for the weekend of November 13 and 14. The Haría City Council will recover the spirit that has led this race to become one of the most outstanding events in the Canary Islands and the world.
