The Agricultural and Craft Market of San Bartolomé opened yesterday for the first time after the state of alarm in Lanzarote caused by the pandemic with the guarantees of safety and hygiene. The market has cultural importance and aims to value the local and artisan products so that residents and visitors can buy Lanzarote produce which include grains, cheeses, fruit, vegetables and dried fish. This took place in the Plaza León and Castillo de San Bartolomé betwen 10:00 to 14:00 will continue on the first Sunday in everymonth with the use of face masks and hydro-alcoholic gel being mandatory at each of the stalls and the observence of social distancing.
