At a press conference the govenor of the canary Islands has said that they are reaching the final stage that will regulate the de escalation from the state of alarm caused by the pandemic with a return to a new normality. A meeting has been held with all the governors of Spain with the president Pedro Sanchez to discus the way forward. It was considered a farewell meeting as the worst is now over and there are no plans to reunite over the subject of Covid 19. The importance of getting back to normal has a great economic effect for all of the islands. At present there are just three people affected by Covid-19 who are in intensive care units in Canarian hospitals which is the smallest number of cases of those infected since the state of alarm began.
