Malvasia Lanzarote wine week is about to be celebrated for the fifth consecutive year between 4th to 10th of November. A programme of activities has been organised especially for wine enthusiasts which will come to a close on Sunday coinciding with the European Wine Tourism Day. Some of the activities will include a food and wine experience with vegan delicacies at the Castillo de San José. The Casa-Museo del Campesino will host a wine meeting for the cultivators of the crop where a second documentary highlighting Wines of Lanzarote, a story to tell will be screened. There will also be a talk by Dr. Francesca Fort, the coordinator of Vine Biology Area of the Oenological Technology Research Group (TECNENOL) about the face of Climate Change.The most remembered part of this celebration will be the closure on Sunday with the wine route. A bus full of wine lovers from the Island will stop at La Geria, El Grifo and La Florida wineries.ine Week
