The 9th edition of the festival Saborea Lanzarote Enogastronomic took place in the village of Teguise over the weekend reaching its peak on Sunday. The festival has stands displaying gastronomic delights from restaurants and hotels from all over the Canary islands. The were classes and demonstrations top chefs in the industry and tickets could be purchased which could be exchanged for a tapa or glass of wine.

Some of the most iconic products of the Archipelago were on display the Canarian Product House which is located in the Timple Museum in the village. There were workshops developed around fruit liqueurs, smoked breastplate from La Gomera, majorero oil and edible flowers and almonds to name a few. There was also a Cheese Workshop, with an exhibition of the different Canarian cheeses. This event is always successful with record numbers of visitors every year.
