The council of San Bartolomé has made a new effort to incorporate seven new electric vehicles to its fleet this year costing approximately 192,000 euros which will also include the installation of two charging points compatible with the new cars, one inside and one outside.
The purchase has been divided into three lots. One is related to the acquisition of half a dozen cars, each with a capacity of five seats. A second lot has to do with the incorporation of a couple of vans to the local fleet, also with ample capacity. The third lot is exclusively attached to the two charging points to be placed in various local units.
The decision was made following the initiative of other island councils with the recent installations in Arrecife and Yaiza.
