The Queen Elizabeth II has arrived in Las Palmas Gran Canaria after leaving Lanzarote some hours ago. This well know ship known as the QE2 has a capacity of 2503 passengers. Built in 2010 and refurbished in 2014 the QE2 has lots of modern features, including a state-of-the-art Computer Centre, relaxing whirlpools and karaoke. This imense ship that seems to tower over the Arrecifes Gran hotel with its 12 decks is currently completing a 13 day cruise around the Canary Islands. The 2300-passenger cruise liner Queen Elizabeth is Cunard’s newest luxurious ocean cruise liner. QE appeared in October 2010 when she was named in a grandiose ceremony by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Reminding the rich inheritance of the first Cunarder to bear the name, her stylishness both echoes that legendary age and improves her luxury modern charm. QE- the running mate to Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria has a modified design and is slightly larger than Queen Victoria, having more vertical stern.
