The old house of Los Naranjos is one of the most historic buildings on the island. It is one of the islands protected buildings and gets its name from the fruit trees that surround it. The house was built around 1840 and is somewhat in a derelict state. A unique project is underway to reform and restore the 8 room house with the goal of eventually opening its doors to tourism as a hotel to attract more people to the north of Lanzarote.
The idea of the new owners is also to take advantage of the common areas of the house so that they can be visited by tourists and residents, organizing cultural activities such as musical performances, exhibitions or storytelling.
