Did you know that Lanzarote has one of the worlds longest promenades. An project to build a walk way around the island was thought up over 5 years ago. There is now a promenade stretching 26 kilometers which has been named “Solo Dos Pasos” (Just two Steps).The route is made up of a mixture beautiful coastal views stretching from Costa Teguise passing through Arrecife, La Concha, Playa Honda and Puerto del Carmen. Extending from the paved walkway, a cross country path continues from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero Marina.
The longest promenade recorded was in La Coruna which is 13 kilometers and Atlantic City has one which is 9.25 kilometers.
