Brad Pitt has been visiting Fuerteventura to film scenes for the new film “Allied”. The Canaries have been the backdrop for many films in the past and hosted a number of famous people for both work and holidays.
Allied is a romantic thriller set during World War II in Casablanca (1942). Based on a true story about 2 assassins who fall in love on a mission to kill a German official.
The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and Brads co stars are Marion Cotillard, Lizzy Caplan, Mathew Goode and Jared Harris
The first shots were filmed in February this year in London moving in to Fuerteventura in May. Release date is scheduled for 23 November 2016 by Paramount Pictures
