That’s Christmas over and moving straight on to Carnaval. Tias have just released the winner of 2026 carnaval poster. A local resident of Tias won with a design which was inspired by the landscapes, towns, and sky of Lanzarote. The mayor of Tías, The first deputy mayor and a council woman for Festivals, presented the winning poster for the Puerto del Carmen Carnival 2026, an edition that promises to turn the streets into a grand festive stage inspired by the elegance, carefree spirit, and joy of *The Roaring Twenties*. The theme will pay homage to a decade marked by music, dance, and celebration, fusing that spirit with identity, landscapes, and light in a proposal that aims to fill Puerto del Carmen with color, rhythm, and popular participation. The Carnival of Puerto del Carmen will be celebrated from February 19 to 22, with a varied program that includes galas, carnival parades, concerts, parties, and activities for all ages. As a prelude to the festivities, the presentation of the Carnival groups will take place on February 8 at 7:00 PM in the Municipal Sports Pavilion of Tías.
