The new museum in Jameos del Agua was opened in March replacing the original situatad at the islands well known attraction. This new display has been upgraded with ineteractive displays and virtual tour through the volcanic tube. Some of the original exhibits remain but lots more has been added. More attention has been paid to the work of the European Space Agency and the island likeness to the planet Mars. A space ship simulation has been added and simulates a landing on the red planet. Very interesting and educational, well worth a visit. the original space where the museum was ocupied has been freed as a wedding venue
