The Mirador de Haria is a viewpoint that looks over the Valley of a Thousand Palms and the historic village of Haria. In an attempt to revive this viewpont a complicated task is taking place to secure a 2.9 meter platform and that weighs more than 3,500 kilos. The area is difficult to access as it is one of the highest points on the island and has proven difficult for the heavy trucks required for the installation. The steel structures will support two footbridges creating another attration on the island for tourists to visit. The works are expected to be completed next June and will be a tribute to the artist César Manrique
