Aena, the company that manages airports across Spain is reportedly promising to install cameras to detect body temperature at Canary Airports. The Regional Director of the company met with the Public Works Advisor of the Canary Islands to discuss the planned measures. It is expected that there will be soon be thousands of people passing through the airports and it has been agreed that this is a necessery measure to ensure the health and security of both residents and tourists.

The thermal caleras will help control the suspected cases of Covid19 and will add to other safety measures such as such as the obligation to use masks, marks on the pavement to keep the safety distance between passengers, the use of partitions and available dispensers of hydroalcoholic gels.
