The Green Caves music festival will be opened on the the 21st March 2020 by and exceptional pianist Luis Fernando Perez. This is the first festival organised by the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism. Luis Fernando Pérez began his studies at the Conservatory of Pozuelo de Alarcón. In 1993 he entered the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music, where he continued his piano studies with renowned Russian teacher Dimitri Bashkirov, and teachers Galina Eguiazarova and Márta Gulyás continuing his training at the Hochschule für Musik, in Cologne, with Professor Pierre-Laurent Aimard. He has also received master classes from artists such as Leon Fleisher, Andras Schiff, Bruno-Leonardo Gelber, Menahen Pressler, Fou Tsong and Gyorgy Sandor. This is a pianist that has a high reputation within the world of classical music and has received many awards. He is renowned for his ability to connect with the public. During the concert at the caves he will perform a programme which is romantic and impressionistic including works from composers such as Chopin, Debussy, Mompou and Falla.
