Salsa Dancing in Lanzarote

Saturday was the final of Strictly Come Dancing which has become one of the most popular programes on the TV. As the television series took the nation by storm so has Salsa dancing with many clubs opening all over the UK. Obviously being a latin dance it is very popular in Lanzarote especially at the local fieastas with live groups playing a mixture of Salsa, Bachata,Merengue & Samba. There is a great influence from the carribean and South America in the Canaries which makes this music extremely popular. Like many places in the world there are clubs and associations and Lanzarote is no exception.
