The popular singer from Cantabria in Northern Spain, David Bustamante, will perform on 6 August at the celebrations of the local yearly fiestas in Puerto del Carmen. The concert will take place at 9.30pm in Plaza del Varadero as part of his Inédito Tour, the tour with which he is travelling across Spain.
Bustamante rose to fame in 2001 after taking part in the first edition of Operación Triunfo, a television and musical phenomenon that had a huge impact in Spain and launched its contestants to stardom.
In the competition, the singer finished in third place. After Operación Triunfo, David Bustamante released his first single “Además de ti”, a hit released in 2002 that reached number one in sales for several weeks.
Throughout his 25-year career, the artist has released eleven studio albums, as well as several compilation albums and special projects. His latest record is Inédito, a tour that will take him to Lanzarote and in which he has been particularly involved in the writing process. Currently, the singer has over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and many of his latest music videos have surpassed two million views on YouTube.
