The Lava Live Festival returns to Arrecife this weekend with a great line up of performers. The Dominican legend, Juan Luis Guerra headlines on Friday 24th July. The singer has been popular since the 1980’s and his music is characterized by a fusion of various genres, including merengue, bachata, bolero, salsa, and jazz, making him one of the most versatile and influential artists in Latin music. Also on this night Ana Mena, who is a massively popular Spanish pop star, will perform.
On Saturday night the headline act is Nicky Jam who’s has many famous, well known songs such as “Hasta el Amanecer” and “X”. He has worked with Enrique Iglesias and he has Puerto Rican and Dominican roots that have made him a key figure in the reggaeton genre.
