Playa Flamingo is located just along from the ferry port in the resort of Playa Blanca. You can click here to see the exact location. A short slope takes you down to the beach which has golden sand and the sea is typically calm due to the sea wall built to keep out the larger waves. There is also a gentle incline making it very popular for families with children.
There are some restaurants and mini markets along the promenade to enjoy lunch or refreshments and our neighbouring island of Fuerteventura can be seen across the sea.
