Bees are essential for our ecosystem. They pollinate plants and contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. Without bees, many plants would no longer bear fruit and our food chain would be threatened.
Klaus Guttenberger started organic beekeeping in Lanzarote around 10 years ago and Selina Vogel is working with him to keep this important project alive. Her passion belongs to the bees, especially the Canary black bee. It is robust and resilient and has adapted to the harsh conditions of the volcanic island.
