Holi Lanzarote is an annual event held in the resort of Puerto del Carmen that is organised by the Hindu community. HOLI is celebrated to welcome the beginning of Spring and it’s done so with lots of colours meaning the victory of good over evil.
It will be held this year on the 30th March at the Playa de la Naciones in Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen.
Powdered colours will be on sale to paint everything and everyone. People should wear white and expect to be targeted. No one is safe!
It’s lots of fun and there will also be dancing and musical performances on stage.
There will also be an assortment of traditional Indian food on offer to sample.
