The proposed expansion of the Open Mall shopping centre has been opened to the public. The plans include the construction of 4 new floors in the area of the old Hiperdino Supermarket just next to the shopping mall. The basement parking area will be extended with 426 additional parking spaces. There will be an area of 16,605.1 square metres for commercial premises and a further 6,857.38 for terraces. The expansion of the ground floor of the shopping centre includes new fashion, home and service premises. Meanwhile, the upper floor will be used for commercial premises and restaurants. In this space, “an island of central premises” will be created, where a new restaurant area and terraces are proposed. The rooftop area will be used for different activities such as terraces, food trucks, open-air cinemas, mini-golf, wind tunnel and go-karts.
