The Government guarantees Yaiza its promotion of cruise tourism through Promotur Canarias. The mayor of Yaiza has said that cruise ships will arrive at Playa Blanca, if not this year, then in 2026, through the efforts of Promotur. A programme fr a quantity of medium-sized or boutique cruise ships will generate one million euros for Yaiza. For the first time the ships will be able to dock in the south of the island and athough it will directly benefit Yiaza, the entire Island as a tourist destination will also feel the benefits. Promotur is competent in activities related to the study, promotion, development, and marketing of the different tourist products and services of the Canary Islands and the enhancement of the tourist offer of the Archipelago. Cruise ships can only dock at the port in Arrecie at teoment bthereveopement o the port in Playa Blance has now made it possible that the ships can arrive in both areas.
