The Manga Festival promotes the Japanese way of life and video games and it is coming to Lanzarote on the 24th, 25th and 26th January. It will take place at the Parque Isla Canarias (close to the Gran Hotel). The event is organised by the company Zukoabega and it will feature activities, concerts, and workshops for all audiences. Admission is free of charge and everyone is welcome to delve into the Japanese culture..
It is an open-air event with workshops and events “for all tastes,” said the artistic director. The epicentre is Japan and Asia and we will have a top-level artist who does visual effects.
Canarian cartoonists dedicated to the world of animation, content creators, voice actors and many more surprises are also expected to attend and will be revealed on the social networks of the Canarias Manga Festival in the coming days.
You will be able to taste a Japanese sake, discover how a tea ceremony, k-pop, cosplays are carried out and enjoy a gaming area that will be “one of the largest in the Canary Islands”
