To really enjoy the unique Lanzarote landscape, its good to get out into the countryside and take a walk around the many hiking routes.The Volcan del Cuervo is located towards the west of the island in Tinajo. This is a route that is especially good for familys and older people as it is a circular route around this 380 meter high volcano with no elevated areas. What makes this route special is that you can enter the crater to see the plants that have managed to grow out of the ashes.It takes 20 minutes to reach the base of the volcano from the car park and from there, you can take one of two options. Either go left to walk around the whole volcano, or you go directly to the crater using the path to the right. In both cases, the round trip from the car park is approximately one hour.
