For those lucky enough to be celebrating New Years Eve in Lanzarote, here is what is happening in the different resorts and areas.
Arrecife this year will be hosting the TV channel Telecinco televised event at the Castillo de San Jose.
Puerto del Carmen– Music in the Harbour and fireworks on the Avenida de las Playas at 1am
Costa Teguise– Fireworks from Las Cucharas at midnight.
Playa Blanca- No organised fireworks that we know if by the town hall but many hotels will have their own displays
