The San Ginés International Regatta has been held since 1947, and is currently the oldest offshore event in Spain. This year, more than twenty boats will participate. Everything is ready for the scheduled activities to begin on Thursday, with the boats starting from the bay of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Friday afternoon and the first classified boats arriving at the vicinity of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife on Saturday morning.The activities begin on Thursday afternoon with the confirmation of registrations and will give way at 7:30 p.m. to the skippers’ meeting in the Dámaso Hall of the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria. The confirmation of registrations will continue on Friday morning, between 9:00 and 13:00 hours, and the departure of the boats from the bay of Las Palmas Gran Canaria is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday, with the first classified of the fleet arriving at the bay of Arrecife in the early hours of Saturday morning.
