The two terminals at Lanzarote César Manrique airport will be undergoing more work to gain in size to help operability. The project is expected to have a budget of more than 5 million euros which will be inverted over seven years in two phases. The contract will take into account the expansion of Terminal 1 which is the main international terminal. The project will increase the size of the largest building by 145 meters which is dedicated to connections with the peninsula and international flights. The site will be constructed on the old bus parking lot located between both terminal buildings. The aim is to consolidate the space dedicated to baggage collection, in the context of the main terminal. On the upper floor, it is planned to increase the number of check-in counters and expand the security area.
