New Wine Tour by WineTours Lanzarote and Bodega Volcano
WineTours Lanzarote are delighted to team up with Bodega Vulcano de Lanzarote to provide an in-depth wine experience at their vineyard in Masdache, followed by their cellar in Tias. We have known Victor and Maria Jose for years, both through our existing tours and more recently Wine Shop Lanzarote where we act as the distributor for their wines in the UK and Ireland.
For our new tour, guests in groups of no more than 8, will get immersed in Bodega Vulcano’s own vineyard, learning and experiencing the care of a grape vine, throughout the yearly cycle.
We will then travel to Tias and go behind the scenes at the winery; understanding the process and equipment used to produce their wines. We will finish with a guided tasting by a WSET professional of 4 of their delicious wines, accompanied by local Lanzarote goats´ cheese. We will also be using some tasting aides to help your senses!
Bodega Vulcano is Lanzarote’s only certified vegan winery and you will leave with an understanding of the process which makes a wine vegan!
The experience includes all materials and pick up and drop off from our collection point in front of the IES Puerto del Carmen School (click here for map) at 10am. Alternatively, we can meet you at Bodega Vulcano in Tias at 10.05am (click here for map).
Our tours are open to ages 12+ and under 18’s will be supplied with soft drinks.
The tours are monthly in both English and Spanish.
