Lanzarote’s neighbouring island of Lanzarote is very accessible with the regular ferry’s back and forward. The nearest resort is Corralejo and once you are off the ferry, you can walk along the coast and after about 5 minutes, you will be at the stop of the resort where there are many restaurants, shops and things to do and see. The beaches in Corralejo are beautiful, especially as you make your way further along the coast and away from the port.
There are two different ferries you can catch to take you over from Playa Blanca. One being the Fred Olsen and the other being Armas. Fred Olsen is a faster trip taking just 25 minutes and Armas takes a little longer, about 40 minutes, as it’s a larger ferry. It’s a good idea to book the return trip together just in case it’s a busy weekend but if travelling without a car, there isn’t usually a problem getting a ticket.
Once in Corralejo you can enjoy the beaches of El Burrito or Playa Grande, drive a buggy through the National Park and dunes or visit the Acua Water Park.
For ferry times and prices you can check out their websites below and book online.
