Location
Playa Blanca is an extensive resort which stretches from the beautiful beaches of Papagayo at one end, to the Faro Lighthouse at the other end of the coastal promenade. There are also two water parks within the resort; Aqualava and Paradise Island Water Park.
The villa is located in the Costa Papagayo which is a residential villa area within a 15-20 minute walk, or if you are not keen on walking, a 5 minute drive to the Playa Dorada beach in Playa Blanca where you will find a selection of bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Playa Blanca has a great selection of beaches bars and restaurants and a very quaint shopping center. There is also a marina, the national park of Papagayo beaches and a ferry port with a 40 minute service to the nearby island of Fuerteventura.

Fantastic property and well maintained.
Great location, managed to get my 10,000 steps in, by walking to the marina or the beach, lunch, then walk back. The swimming pool was useable, lovely & warm, even if the weather was cloudy or windy. Basic villa but comfortable for a week away. We hired a car but not necessary.
We stayed in this villa for the first week of September for a quick and relaxing week away and we were so pleased with what we booked. The villa is fantastic value for money and we are so disappointed it's not available for our dates in 2017! The inside was well maintained and clean, the kitchen is quite tiny but we ate out every night so it didn't bother us. The outside area really is gorgeous, such a large space and the Jacuzzi was a lovely touch. The pool was larger than we expected and nice and warm and overall we were very impressed. The location was good - it was quite a lengthy (but pleasant) walk to the main shops and restaurants BUT you'll never find this level of privacy anywhere near the centre and it's totally worth it. 4 euros in a taxi! Having been on more villa holidays since, I must stress that the value for money you get with this villa is brilliant. We've booked to stay a few roads away in a slightly larger new build and it's TWICE the price for the week! So snap this up now if it's available for your dates! The villa was very clean and functional for our needs. In a quiet location only a short walk to the marina, beaches and the centre of Playa Blanca. The heated pool was perfect for the kids and the bonus feature of a hot tub perfect for the adults. As my husband is a chef we like to cook/bbq at the villa and the bbq area was great. Free wifi kept the kids happy. The sun shone for 13 out of our 14 days so we spent all of our time in the large outside area. The property manager has been fantastic , nothing to much trouble. Overall a fantastic holiday in a fantastic villa. Looking forward to going back next year.
