New Statue For Puerto del Carmen

A new statue has been commissioned for Puerto del Carmen to pay tribute to all the workers related and dedicated to the sea. Expected to be ready in the Autumn this year the sculpture will take a prominent position at the roundabout in Calle Reina Sofia which leads to the old town harbor of Puerto del Carmen. A local artist called Maria Dolores Acosta will be in charge of the work
