A handbook that explores the life and artistic trajectory of Cesar Manrique over the course of a century will soon be recieved by The Cabildo’s Art, Culture, and Tourism Centers.  This meticulous work called Hundred Years of Memory is a documentation  by Francisco Galante, Professor of Art History at the University of La Laguna and Professor, Researcher, and Academic Consultant at the Katholieke Universiteit de Louvain in Berlin. The book explores the life and artistic trajectory of the genius over the course of a century. It delves into his school notes and his experiences in New York;César Manrique. One Hundred Years of Memory’ is presented in a deluxe three-volume slipcase published in Spanish and English. It comprises a thousand pages with numerous illustrations and photographs, many of them previously unpublished. Initially, 1,000 copies will be printed and distributed free of charge by the Tourist Centers to educational and cultural centers on the island, as well as to libraries and study spaces.
