The village of Guime is celebrating their annual fiestas at the moment. Guime is located inland from the airport and is a small village of around 1500 inhabitants.
The celebrations started on Sunday 2nd June and will continue until 13th June. There will be many activities and celebrations happening during this time.
Here are just some of the events happening at the local village square and social club.
Wednesday 5th June
5:00 pm: “Let’s play”, activities and workshops for children.
6:30 pm: Dessert, Tortilla and liqueur contest ARTEM magic show.
Thursday 6th June
5:00 pm: Healthy cooking workshop for children aged 3 to 6. Limited places. Pre-registration: tallerinfantilfestejos@gmail.com
Friday 7th, June
5:30 pm: Virtual reality, bouncy castle and children ́s activities.
8:00 pm: Performances bythe Municipal Folklore School
9:00 pm: Music Night with ElGolpito, Gurfines Son los del Puerto and Son del Norte.
Sunday 9th, June
5:00 pm: Foam party.
Monday 10th, June
6:00 pm: Zumba Kids.
Wednesday 12th June
6:00 pm: “Let’s play” activities for children.
7:30 pm: Karaoke with 80’s music. In charge of DJ Ángel Pérez
Thursday 13th, June
7:00 pm: Mass with a performance by the Municipal Choir and procession accompanied by the Local Municipal Band.
8:30 pm: Theatre in charge of local residents. Followed by fireworks.
