Lanzarote Wine Run will be taking place on 16th June. This anual event is a fun day where the contestants can walk or run through La Geria, the wine region of the island stopping for wine and tapas supplied by locals. Finishing with a party. he event. The weekend consists of a food festival and concert held in Uga. There are 2 races. One of 23km and shorter race of 12km with two groups, one for runners and another for walkers. There were over 2000 participants registered at the last event.Based on previous years, the 23km run will departs at 9:00 and the 12km at 10:00. The food festival is free entry and open to all
