On Tuesday César Manrique Lanzarote airport had its first international arrival for months. The return flight was from Manchester and operated by Ryanair. The company has anounced a new summer program of British low-cost flights  between Lanzarote and the UK with frequent connections between the island and seven UK airports. 6 are English and one Scottish. From July the Manchester flight is scheduled to arrive 4 times a week and this month there will be a further 2 flights on 27th and 30th of June. Most of the flights planned will be from  London Stansted, which will be daily. There are a further 2 from Bristol starting on July 2nd Other airports include Birmingham, beginning July 3 and East Midlands, beginning July 4. There will also be two weekly connections from Luton, beginning July 1. And as far as Scotland is concerned, links to Lanzarote will be made from Edinburgh, once a week, from July 3. Ryanair will also start operations in July to connect Lanzarote to an airport in  Frankfurt in Germany and later Belgum. There will also be connections with mainland Spain
