Last Saturday the 16th May saw the reopening of the Market at Haria. It’s a much smaller market than the Teguise Market but is equally as popular. Normally you can find a variety of craft stalls selling artwork, jewelry, pottery and leather items as well as a selection of local products such as cheese, bread, cakes, jams and fruit and vegetable.

For the time being, while Lanzarote remains in phase 1 of lockdown de-escalation, only the market stalls offering food products will be allowed to open. For the correct compliance with hygiene and prevention measures, staff from the Insular Consortium for Safety and Emergencies traveled to Haria  to advise and guide the owners of the stalls on how to avoid any risk.

The market is held every Saturday morning between 10am and 14.30 and is located in the Plaza León y Castillo.
