Last year, Endesa (the electricity company in Lanzarote)generated a total of 22,735,827 MWh [megawatts] in the Los Valles wind farm, located in the municipality of Teguise. The Lanzarote ecological park was the third of the company in the Canary Islands with the highest production in 2017, just behind Arico (Tenerife) and Carretera de Arinaga (Gran Canaria).

Endesa, through its subsidiary Enel Green Power España (EGPE), and the Lanzarote Water Consortium manage this wind power plant through the Eólicas de Lanzarote company. The tenth wind turbine of the facility is currently being commissioned, which means that the plant will increase its capacity from 7.65 MW [megawatts] to 8.5 MW capacity.

Throughout the archipelago, Endesa has a dozen wind farms that have an installed capacity of 62.9 MW. In 2017 they produced a total of 158,272.9 MWh of energy.
