The RC44 Calero Marinas Cup will be held between February 28 and March 4 The 2018 at Marina Lanzarote, where Lanzarote will have the honor of being part of the prestigious circuit, sharing prominence with other destinations sharing prominence with other destinations such as Portorož, in Slovenia, Marstrand, in Switzerland, Cascais in Portugal and Valleta in Malta.
The prevailing wind in Lanzarote during the month of March is usually between 15 and 25 knots, which will provide the fleet with a very lively season start. It will be the ninth round of the RC44 Class that will host Calero Marinas, being the second event to be held at the new Marina Lanzarote. The teams have been able to enjoy the benevolence of the warm winter of the island to train, prepare for the season and set up their boats in the brand new dry dock of the arrecife, where they have all the facilities to carry out their training.
