Carnival dates for Lanzarote have been released for 2018. If you have never been to the island during this time, its well worth a visit. Something to cheer you up in the winter months. The first to celebrate will be the capital of Arrecife. This is the main event and the Carival will be celebrated for 2 weeks with the procession at the end and also the traditional burning of the sardine. Shorter carnivals are held in the resorts of Puerto del Carmen from 15/ February to 18th February and Playa Blanca from 9th March to 11th March. Costa Teguise is yet to be anounced.
