The most important exhibition of photojournalism in the world reaches Arrecife in its nineteenth edition. This photo exhibition brings together the winners at the largest annual press photography contest on the planet. The winner of this edition is a Turkish photographer, Burhan Ozbilici (left image). One canary got the first prize of individual photography in nature category, Francis Perez with a turtle entangled in a rig (main image). The Italian Antonio Gibotta represents with his second prize in category of histories, the Spanish party the Enharinados that is celebrated in Ibi (central image).

Word Press Photo has been in more than 100 cities and in 45 countries, with more than four million people visiting it. Last year 450 people attended in Arrecife and in this edition will be on show until 11th of August. The exhibition is open from Monday to Friday, 10 am until 1 pm and from 6 pm until 9 pm also Saturdays from 10 am until 1 pm. The photojournalism exhibition is located in the Exhibition Hall of Charco de San Ginés and its access is free.
