One of Cesar Manriques wind machines has been dismantled for repair. Fobos has stood on the roundabout of Tahiche, close to the entrance of the Cesar Manrique foundation since 1994. Removed for repair in 2005 when the tropical storm Delta knocked it to the ground. The wind machine will actualy be repreduced this time. Its not the only one of its kind as there are replicas in Arucas in Gran Canaria and Pajares in Fuerteventura. It is named after one of the two moons of the planet Mars.
We should expect to see this landmark back in place by April 2017
