Our holiday villas are just as busy in the winter months. As autumn brings cooler temperatures and cloudy skies to much of Europe, Lanzarote stands out as one of the continent’s warmest destinations. The island has been named the sixth-best European destination for escaping the autumn chill, making it the highest-ranked Spanish location in a study by A travel company. The study assessed more than 100 destinations across Europe, comparing two factors important to last-minute travellers: reliable autumn weather and affordable flights. The Canary Islands performed strongly, with Lanzarote taking sixth place and neighbouring Fuerteventura ranking seventh. They were the only Spanish destinations to feature among the top ten.Cyprus dominated the rankings, claiming the first four spots. Ayia Napa came first, followed by Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos. Greece’s Athens Riviera ranked fifth, while Rhodes and Kos placed eighth and ninth. Malta completed the top ten. We still have some good offers for November on our special offers page!
