Another fun packed event is round the corner…. St Patricks day. Here are the fun and activities planned for the weekend in Puerto del Carmen.
2026 Programme
Sunday 15th March –
11am – Hurling on the Beach – Playa Granda
3pm – 5km Walk/ Jog/ Run in awareness of suicide prevention & Mental Health – Los Pocillios
Followed by Live Music in Los Pocillos
Monday 16th –
Opening of Festival in Varadero ( harbour) 5pm
Exchange of Flags Canarian & Irish with Local Lanzarote Group Güerma and Irish Group Celtic Roots followed by both of their cultural Music and Dance
6.40pm – Irish Legend Dessie Hynes
7.50pm – The Sloanes
9.30pm – Conor Magee
10.30pm – Max Santalucia Band
12 midnight close.
Tuesday 17th St. Patricks Day
11am- Mass in Señora de Lourdes Church in Old Town Puerto del Carmen
Followed by a meet and great outside and then a walk to the Varadero ( Harbour) where it will begin with Presentations and the Irish National Anthem followed by Live Music with :-
