The fiesta of San Antonio is celebrated this year from from May 31st to June 15th in the village of Tias. This event will focus on cultural, sporting and musical events along with the traditional activities. Highlights of the program include the 2nd Gastronomic Fair organized by Sporting Tías, the Tirititías family festival, and the El Pavón Folk Music Gathering, which form the backbone of the celebration. The fiesta is religious and there will be a a solemn service in honor of San Antonio which will be held on Friday, June 13, followed a procession through the streets of the town center, accompanied by the Lanzarote Musical Union and the Gaida folk group.
