If you would like to discover the amazing underwater world in the Atlantic with no experience, the Manta Dive Center in Puerto del Carmen offers a 20 hour diving experience. The try dives are perfect for a 1st time. They are done directly from the beach which means that you do not have to worry about getting on/off a boat or sea sickness and the groups are small to ensure that everyone has a great time underwater. During the dive, your instructor will give you a detailed briefing so you know exactly what to expect and the equipment is supplied including wetsuits.The Try Dive is 5 metres for 30-40 minutes and stops along the way and see the different fish Playa Chica has to offer. You may see sea bream, parrotfish, damselfish, flounders, ornate wrasse. Its also includes insurance, full equipment hire, photos of you underwater, and SSI Try Scuba recognition card.
