There is a plan to reorganise the markets in the municiple of Teguise which includes the popular market of Teguise Village on Sunday and the 2 markets in the tourist resort of Costa Teguise on Wednesday and Friday will recieve a minimum budgeted allocation of just over 481,000 euros per year from the City Council. This amount has increased from the original valuation a few weeks ago evaluated weeks ago as there were worries that the original budget would have left a risk of key aspects uncovered. It is hoped that the new investment will help improve and energise services.
